Hi, I'm Anders—52 years old with the curiosity in tech, of a 25-year-old.

Started on a ZX Spectrum. Working professionally with everything from NetWare, Windows, OS/2 to Linux. Three decades in various IT/Consulting companies, now back at IBM helping organizations navigate AI, Cloud, and Infrastructure transformation without losing their minds.



What sets me apart: I'm still ridiculously hands-on.

85+ certifications? Yes, I collect them like some people collect stamps. But here's what matters: True learning comes through experience—walk the talk. My computer is a science desk—Docker containers spinning up LLMs, Python scripts testing agent behaviours, cloud instances comparing vector databases. Can't architect what you haven't built. Certifications teach you how things should work; production teaches you how they actually break.



Why Medium?

After years of PowerPoints, I missed honest conversations. The messy transformations. The simple solutions nobody wants. The human problems harder than technical ones.

I write about what actually works when implementing AI in enterprises that still run mainframes, what fails despite vendor promises, and why "just add AI" is like expecting to win Civilization by random clicking.

For tech leaders who still open terminal windows, architects who test before they recommend, and anyone who believes the best insights come from getting your hands dirty.
